Prize of the “Interior Design / HOtel – REstaurant - CAfé Design” section - The Bucharest Architecture Annual 2019
Having the fish market as concept, the design wished to bring diversity and that specific atmosphere, whilst reuniting the fish, vegetable, wine, restaurant, bar, fish bar and street food areas. Having a homogenous treatment and sober background, the place presents multiple aquatic themes and lets the colorful products and mosaic insertions take focus. Visually opened for the client, cooking becomes a show. The mesh ceiling suggests the movement of the waves, the volumes above the bar, the coverage of the market stalls. Custom furniture borrows aquatic elements, containing materials used in fish markets and kitchens.
